    Members, roles, tasks, and calendar

A collision shop's team runs on more than good intentions. Owner, manager, estimator, and technician each get a role scoped to their job, invitations go out by email, internal chat keeps the back-and-forth off personal phones, and a kanban task board plus a shared calendar keep the routine work moving. Every team table is workspace-scoped and protected by row-level security.

    Workspace members and roles

Owner, manager, estimator, and technician roles. Claimory checks a person's role in the database, and role changes go through a checked database function rather than a direct edit.

    Workspace invitations

Invite a new team member by email at a specific role. A pending Claimory invitation carries an expiry date and can be resent or revoked before it is accepted.

    Team management UI

A dedicated page and panel for managing the team: see who is in, change roles, deactivate, or invite new members. Same place for both single-shop and multi-shop owners.

    Team chat

Internal team chat that lives inside Claimory rather than a third-party tool. Threads stay tied to the workspace so a tech who leaves does not take the conversation history with them.

Tasks, standalone or on a claim

A task hangs off an insurance claim, off a cash job, or off nothing at all, and never off both a claim and a cash job at once. Task per Claim writes one task onto every active claim and skips any that already has it open.

    Kanban with drag-drop

A Claimory task board with four columns, To Do, In Progress, Waiting and Done. The production manager drags a task from one column to the next without opening a settings screen.

    Assignment notifications

Putting a person on a task notifies that person, and changing the assignee later notifies the new one. Assigning a task to yourself stays quiet, and anyone who has switched the notification off keeps it off.

    One shared shop calendar

One Claimory calendar per shop in month and week views, with filter chips for deliveries, deadlines, appointments, follow-ups and events. Task due dates show up on it automatically.

    Add and edit calendar entries

A Claimory calendar entry holds a date, one of four types, a note and an optional claim, and each person can edit the entries they created.

    Workspace-scoped data, end to end

Every team-related table (members, invitations, roles, tasks, calendar) is workspace-scoped and protected by RLS. Data does not bleed across shops in a multi-shop owner's account.

How shops use this in practice

The owner invites a new manager at intake. The production manager runs the kanban from a phone, dragging tasks across columns as the day moves. Delivery dates and task deadlines sit on one shared calendar, so the front desk sees the week at a glance. Team chat carries the back-and-forth that does not belong in a claim thread.
