    Claimory
    Team

The front office and the floor, on the same record

A shop runs on who is allowed to do what. Below is the Team screen in Claimory, where people are invited, given a role, and have that role's permissions tuned for your shop rather than ours.

The Team screen in Claimory for a collision repair shop, listing each member with their name, email and role, alongside pending invitations and the controls to invite a member, share an invite link, change a role or remove someone.
    Permissions

What each role starts with, before you change it

These are the defaults for Manager, Estimator and Technician, and every cell here is a switch in your own workspace. The value you save beats the default, so a shop whose estimator should not touch financials turns that one off instead of inventing a new role. The Org Admin account is not on this matrix and holds all eight.

    Assignment

Being handed the car is its own permission

A claim in Claimory can be updated by anyone whose role carries the edit permission, and also by the three people named on the claim itself: its claim owner, its assigned estimator and its primary tech. That rule is enforced at the database, not in the screen that draws the button.

So a technician holding none of the eight permissions can still move the car they were given, and only that car, without anyone handing them the shop's financials to do it. A role governs what a person can do and whether they see money. Every member of a workspace can open any claim in it.

    Talking

The conversation stays with the shop

Shop coordination usually lives in a group text on somebody's personal phone, which leaves when they do and cannot be searched by anyone else. Claimory carries its own chat, in the same place as the claims.

    Direct and group
A conversation with one person or with several. Group conversations carry their own member list.
    After you hit send
Edit a message, delete it, react to it, or pin it so it sits at the top of the conversation for everyone.
    Finding it again
Search across every conversation you are in, or inside one. Unread counts sit on the conversation and in the rail.
    Who is there
Online presence across the workspace and a typing indicator in the conversation, both live rather than polled.
    Files
Attach a file to a message, so a photo of the panel goes where the question about the panel is.
    Turning it down
Mute a conversation to stop its notifications, archive it to take it off the list, or mark it read.
    Joining and leaving

A seat is granted, not assumed

    1. 01

      Invite

An invitation goes out against an email address with the role already chosen, and it carries an expiry. You can also hand out the invite link directly.

    2. 02

      Accept

The invitation is validated by its token before anything is created, and an expired one is refused rather than silently accepted.

    3. 03

      Change

A role change is written through a dedicated database function rather than a direct update, so the workspace membership row cannot be edited around the rules.

    4. 04

      Resend or revoke

A pending invitation can be sent again or revoked outright. Removing a member takes their access with it.

Put your shop on one record

Invite the office, invite the floor, and set the eight permissions to match how your shop already works.
