Supplement Workflow Management
Write supplement lines on the claim, record the carrier's answer line by line, and keep what was requested beside what was approved.
No credit card. Works with CCC ONE and Mitchell.
What It Does
A Claimory supplement lives on its claim. The estimator writes the reason and the lines, the carrier's answer is recorded as approved, partially approved or denied, and the claim's Supplements view totals every supplement on that repair order. Claimory works alongside CCC ONE and Mitchell and does not replace their labor-time databases.
- Create a supplement on a claim with a reason and lines typed Part, Labor, Sublet, Material or Other
- Enter a part number, quantity, rate and notes on each supplement line, with the total computed as you type
- Number supplements off the claim number, so a second and third supplement sit beside the first
- Record a carrier approval, a partial approval with the allowed amount on each line, or a denial
- See Total Supplements, Total Requested, Total Approved and Pending at the top of the claim's Supplements view
- Ask Claimory AI to draft a supplement or record an approval or denial, each waiting on your approval
Why It Matters
Requested beside approved
A Claimory supplement keeps the requested amount and the approved amount in the same row, so the gap the carrier cut is visible on the claim.
Which lines were cut
A partial approval in Claimory can record the lines the carrier allowed, the amount on each, and a rejection reason on the lines it refused.
Every supplement on one claim
Supplements are numbered off the claim, so the teardown supplement and the one after it stay attached to the same repair order.
Your estimating platform stays
Claimory writes supplement lines at your shop's own rates and carries no OEM labor-time database, so CCC ONE or Mitchell keeps that job.
How It Works
Document the hidden damage
Upload the teardown photos to the claim's files so the evidence sits on the same claim as the supplement.
Write the supplement
Open the claim's Supplements view, choose Create Supplement, give the reason and add each line with its type, quantity and rate.
Send it to the adjuster
Send the supplement to the carrier the way your shop already does. Claimory does not transmit supplements to carrier systems.
Record the carrier's answer
Mark the supplement approved, partially approved with the allowed amount per line, or denied, and the claim totals update.
Who This Is For
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I track more than one supplement on a claim in Claimory?
Yes. Every Claimory supplement is numbered off its claim, so the second and third supplement on a repair order sit beside the first. The claim's Supplements view totals them in four tiles, Total Supplements, Total Requested, Total Approved and Pending, above a table listing each supplement with its reason, status, requested amount and approved amount.
Can Claimory write the supplement, or do I keep using CCC ONE or Mitchell?
Either. The Claimory Create Supplement form asks for a reason and any number of lines typed Part, Labor, Sublet, Material or Other, each with an optional part number, a quantity, a rate and notes, and totals the request as you type. Claimory carries no OEM labor-time database and no P-pages, so the rates are your shop's own, and a shop that writes against those references keeps its estimating platform for that part.
Can I record which supplement lines the carrier allowed?
Yes. Recording the carrier's answer in Claimory marks a supplement approved, partially approved or denied, with the amount allowed. On a partial approval you can also record which lines the carrier allowed, the amount on each, and a rejection reason on the lines it cut.
Where do I see open supplements across every claim?
On the Claimory dashboard, once the Open Supplements panel is added through the dashboard customizer on Professional and up. The panel lists the five most recent open supplements with the claim number, carrier, amount and status, and View All opens the claims list filtered to Supplementing. Tapping a supplement opens its claim's Supplements view. There is no sortable list of every supplement in the shop.
Does Claimory remind me to follow up on a supplement?
No. Claimory does not send supplement reminders by email, text or notification, and the claim's Supplements view has no button that marks a supplement as sent to the carrier. An open supplement stays listed with its status on the claim, and in the dashboard's Open Supplements panel where a shop has added it, until someone records the carrier's answer.
Who can create a supplement and record the carrier's answer?
Anyone whose role can edit the claim. In Claimory, creating a supplement and recording an approval or a denial sit behind the same claim edit permission, and there is no separate approver role.
Can Claimory AI create or update a supplement?
Yes, with approval. Claimory AI can draft a supplement with lines on a claim, mark a supplement approved with an amount, or mark it denied with a reason. Each one arrives as a card you approve before anything is written.
